Ravenswatch is a top-down roguelike action game developed by Passtech Games, the creators of “Curse of the Dead Gods.” Set in the dark fantasy world of Reverie, the game features heroes inspired by classic folk tales & legends each reimagined with unique twists. For instance players can assume the role of Scarlet a version of Little Red Riding Hood afflicted with lycanthropy, or the Snow Queen wielding formidable ice powers.
The narrative centers on the invasion of Reverie by the Nightmare a malevolent force corrupting the realm. To combat this threat the Ravenswatch assembles heroes from various tales to restore balance. Players explore procedurally generated maps inspired by enchanted forests Arabian Nights & Arthurian legends engaging in dynamic combat against hordes of nightmarish creatures. Gameplay emphasizes intense real-time combat strategic character progression, and high replayability. Players can embark on this journey solo or in online co-op mode with up to four participants.
